Effective Date: July 16, 2026
EI Networks (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Hawkeye mobile application (the “App”) as part of the FRAMS platform. Hawkeye enables authorized users of an organization, institution, or enterprise (the “Organization”) to view live operational alerts, attendance events, safety events, intruder events, and AI video-analytics results from systems managed by that Organization.
We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding the data you and your Organization make available through the App.
1. Information We Collect
Login Credentials
The App requires credentials issued or authorized by your Organization, such as a username, email, phone number, employee identifier, password, or similar account credential, to authenticate access.
Deployment and Session Data
The App may store the deployment URL or server address configured by the user, authentication tokens, session expiry information, the last login identifier, notification preferences, alert filter preferences, notification replay cursors, app settings, and other information required to keep the App connected to the correct FRAMS deployment.
Alert, Attendance, and Event Data
The App displays operational data provided by the Organization’s FRAMS deployment. This may include attendance events, VIP or guest events, age/gender analytics, safety or compliance alerts, intruder alerts, Hawkeye AI analysis results, camera names, site identifiers, timestamps, event status, confidence values, and related metadata.
Image and Media Data
The App may display still images, cropped images, snapshots, or other media generated by cameras and analytics systems operated by the Organization. These images may be temporarily cached on the device to improve loading performance. The App itself does not perform facial recognition, does not create biometric templates, and does not capture camera images. Recognition, detection, and video analytics are performed by the Organization’s FRAMS edge or server systems before relevant event information is transmitted to the App.
Device and Notification Information
We may process standard device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, notification mode, notification topic, notification token where push notifications are configured, and diagnostic information, to operate notifications, maintain session security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
The App does not request access to the device camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or local photo library for normal operation.
2. How We Use Information
We act as a service provider or data processor for the Organization operating the FRAMS deployment. We use information made available through the App only to:
- Authenticate authorized users.
- Connect the App to the correct FRAMS deployment.
- Deliver alerts, notifications, and operational event updates.
- Display attendance, safety, security, visitor, and Hawkeye AI analysis information to authorized users.
- Display still images or snapshots supplied by the Organization’s system for visual confirmation of events.
- Maintain, secure, and operate the App and related services.
- Diagnose, investigate, and resolve technical or security issues.
- Remember non-sensitive preferences, such as the last login identifier, selected filters, notification state, and deployment settings.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, customer information, employee information, images, or event data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Information may be shared only in the following circumstances:
With Your Organization: The Organization controls and manages the FRAMS deployment and may access user, alert, attendance, image, camera, and analytics data for operational, security, safety, attendance, compliance, or administrative purposes.
With Service Providers: We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help operate infrastructure, hosting, notifications, security, diagnostics, or support services. Such providers are required to handle the information under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
For Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the App and FRAMS platform.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data associated with the App. These safeguards may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication, restricted operational access, monitoring, and secure storage for sensitive local session information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
Alert, attendance, image, analytics, and event data are stored and managed according to the retention policies set by the Organization operating the FRAMS deployment and any applicable legal or contractual requirements.
The App stores only the local information needed for operation, such as deployment settings, session tokens, notification preferences, and app settings. This local information may be removed when you sign out, clear app data, uninstall the App, or when the Organization revokes access.
6. User Responsibility
Hawkeye is a business and operational security tool intended only for authorized users. You may be granted access to sensitive information, including employee, visitor, customer, safety, security, camera, or analytics data.
You are responsible for using the App and the information shown in it only for authorized business purposes and in accordance with your Organization’s policies, confidentiality obligations, privacy rules, and applicable laws.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through the App. If the Organization’s FRAMS deployment processes school, campus, or child-related operational records, such processing is controlled by the Organization and should be governed by the Organization’s own consent, notice, and retention policies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App, legal requirements, or operational needs. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date and, where required, by notifying users through the App or other appropriate channels.
